School Calendar
WCPS follows a standard 9 month school calendar. We begin the school year in late August and end the school year the second or third week in May. The school year is approximately 38 weeks long. We have a 2 week Christmas/New Year break and a week of Spring Break. We observe the major holidays that occur during the nine month school year. One Parent Conference Day is scheduled for each semester. The children do not attend on those days. We devote an additional 2 or 3 days off from school for staff training.
