Admissions

Classes are formed on the basis of the age of each child on September 30th. A child entering a WCPS class must be the appropriate age for that class age span by September 30th of the current school year. The goal is to place each child in a group with which he/she can expect to attend kindergarten.

Woodmont Christian Preschool has a lottery based admission process for applicants not currently enrolled in the program and a tenure based process for currently enrolled applicants. (See “Application” for more information)

Applications reviewed and offered admission will be mailed a contract specifying the days offered and annual tuition.  Applicants requesting placement in a classroom that is full will be placed on the waiting list and will be notified if an opening becomes available.

Applications received after the Lottery Application Deadline will be processed as they are received.

Applications for the summer camp and school year are accepted all year, but priority is given to those applications received before the Lottery Application Deadline. (See “Timeline” for specific date.)

WCPS admissions honor the Nashville Consortium of Independent Schools calendar.

WCPS admits children of any race, color, national and ethnic origin. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its admissions policies.
